Marketing / Websites — Victoria, BC

A website that gets the phone to ring.

Your website has one job: turn somebody who is standing in the room they want fixed into a call on your phone. Most trades websites are brochures. Yours will be a salesperson.

Live in about two weeks You own the domain Month to month

Wednesday — who landed on your site Visitor log

  • 6:41 AM “family dentist victoria bc” — phone Left — page took nine seconds Tapped call — eleven seconds after landing
  • 11:18 AM “employment lawyer near me” — phone Left — no prices, no service area Read the Saanich page — sent the enquiry form
  • 7:55 PM “deck builder langford” — laptop Left — could not find a phone number Called — the assistant booked it for Friday

Same three visitors. Different website.

Example of typical behaviour, not a specific client.

Why most
sites fail

People decide in about five seconds.

Somebody is holding their phone on three bars of signal, deciding who to call. If your site takes nine seconds to load, they are already back on Google looking at the next name. If it loads but doesn’t say what you do, where you do it, and how to reach you — same result.

You don’t need a beautiful website. You need one that answers four questions fast and puts your number under their thumb.

  • Do you do my job? Your services, named the way clients say them — “root canal” and “wills and estates”, not “full-service solutions”.
  • Do you cover my area? The towns you actually serve, in writing. This is also how Google decides which searches to show you for.
  • Are you any good? Your finished work, your premises, your people, and your live Google rating on the page. Not a stock photo of a smiling stranger.
  • How do I reach you? One tap to call, on every screen, without scrolling. A short form for the ones who’d rather type.

What you
get

Built once, properly, and looked after.

Every site we build comes with the same foundation. No page builder bloat, no plugins that break at 2 a.m., no theme somebody else in your town is also using.

The build

Fast, plain and easy to use

  • Loads in about a second on a phone with a weak signal — we build lean and we test it that way
  • Tap-to-call button fixed within reach on every page
  • A short quote form that asks five questions, not fifteen
  • A page for every service you offer, written in the words your clients actually use
  • Your real photos, sized and compressed properly so they don’t slow the page down
  • Readable by screen readers, keyboard-friendly, proper contrast

Getting found

Built to show up where you work

  • A page for each town you serve — Victoria, Saanich, Langford, Colwood, Sidney, wherever you’ll drive
  • Your Google Business Profile cleaned up: categories, services, hours, service area, photos
  • Business name, address and phone number identical everywhere they appear
  • Local business and service markup so Google can read what you do without guessing
  • Your Google reviews pulled onto the site, kept current
  • Old pages redirected so you keep any ranking you already have

Afterwards

It stays looked after

  • Hosting, backups, updates and security — included, not an add-on
  • Text or email us a change and it’s done that day, not “in the next sprint”
  • New photos and new services added as your business changes
  • One page a month: visits, calls, forms, and where you rank in your towns

How it
goes

About two weeks, and an hour of your time.

  1. Week 1

We take it off your hands

One call to go through your services, your towns, your fees and the work you turn away. You send us photos from your phone — that’s the only homework. We write every word and build the pages.

  2. Week 2

You read it and mark it up

You get a link, you tell us what’s wrong. You will always catch things we’d never know — a service you dropped last year, an area you stopped covering. We fix it and go live.

  3. Day one

Live, with the phone hooked up

Domain pointed, old pages redirected, Google profile updated, call tracking on so you can see which pages are producing calls. Your number and your email keep working the whole time.

  4. Every month

    One page, in English

How many people came, how many called, which service pages did the work, and where you sit on the map in each town. If a number isn’t moving, we tell you what we’re doing about it.

Questions
we get

Straight answers.

How long does a new website take?

About two weeks from the day we get your photos and your service list. Most of that is us writing and building. We need roughly an hour of your time in total, plus a review before it goes live.

Do I own the website?

Yes. The domain is registered in your business name, the site files are yours, and your Google Business Profile stays under your account. If you ever leave, you take all of it with you.

Can you use my existing domain?

Yes. We keep your domain and your email working. If your old site has pages that rank, we redirect them to the matching new page so you don’t lose that traffic.

Will this get me to the top of Google?

Nobody can promise a position on Google, and anyone who does is guessing. What we can do is the work that actually moves local rankings: a fast site, a page for each service and each town you work in, a complete Google Business Profile, business details that match everywhere, and a steady flow of recent reviews.

Then we show you the ranking every month so you can see whether it’s working.

I already have a website. Is it worth replacing?

Sometimes it isn’t. Send us the address and we’ll tell you honestly whether it needs rebuilding or just needs fixing. If it’s a speed problem and a missing call button, we’ll say so.

What does it cost?

It depends on how many services and service areas need their own page. We quote a fixed build price and a flat monthly amount for hosting, updates and reporting, both on one page before you sign anything. Month to month, no lock-in.

Next step

Send us your current site. We’ll tell you what’s costing you calls.

Free, and you get the list whether or not you hire us. If your site is fine, we’ll tell you that too.
